XR 6.2.3 recommendation ?

Hi,

I will be upgrading a 9006/RSP440 chassis from 5.1.3 with MOD80

I will also be installing new 9904/RSP880/MOD400/MPA2x100G

plan is within the next 4-6 weeks

For the MPA2x100G, I need minimum 6.1, however I see that 6.2.3 has been around since last december, so probably it is best to go with that.

I'd like to ask cisco guys here if there is any plan for 6.2.4 or not, as last time after rolling out 5.3.3 i had 5.3.4 showing up just a month after !

Im aware that 6.3.3 has a July timeframe but cant wait that long, need to be up and running sooner, and at this point i think 6.2.3 is better than 6.3.2, right ?

Hi Mark,

there are no plans for 6.2.4. The 6.2.3 EMR is the last release on that train. Please see https://supportforums.cisco.com/t5/service-providers-documents/ios-xr-release-strategy-and-deployment-recommendation/ta-p/3165422.
