Airgapped Catalyst Center

Hi All,

I have installed a new airgapped CC.

I have followed this procedure

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/cloud-systems-management/network-automation-and-management/dna-center/air_gap_deployment_guide/b_air_gap_deployment_guide.html

At the end, to accept the EULA I need to follow the procedure below.

Accept the Device EULA

To accept the device EULA, log in to your Catalyst Center cluster and run the following command: maglev catalog airgap install /mnt/install-artifacts/eula/finalize_offline_installation-1.7.609.bin

When I try this, the command fails. When I try to look for the .bin file, I can't find it. There is even no eula folder....

Can someone explain me how to accept the EULA?

My CC version is 2.3.5.6-70143.

Thank you,

Kr,

Joris

Hi Joris, did you find a resolution for this?

Do you have the name of the file you used to install the Catalyst Center?

Hi,

Before starting the airgapped installation you will need to open a TAC case.

The Tac engineer will register you request for airgapped software and you will receive a "Cisco Catalyst Center Air Gap Request". You need to fill in several details about the client and the reason why you want to install an airgapped Catalyst Center.

Once your client has approved this request, it will be forwarded to Cisco. They will verify it and you will receive a download link to the airgapped software. The name of the file was called "DNAC-SW-2.3.5.6-AIRGAP.iso".

This software will contain the airgapped specific commands which I was missing.

This also means that you will need to open a tac case when wanting to upgrade the CatCenter.

Kind Regards,

Joris
