First discussion post...
Is there a way to create a template that can pull device information from switches in your environment? Not the switch that the template is being provisioned for.
I am trying to copy interface configs from an old switch to a new switch using CLI templates written in Jinja.
Any advice is very appreciated. Thank you in advance

No, but if you are upgrading from cat3k to 9300's you can use the Switch Refresh Workflow available in 2.3.7 code.

Thank you for the response.
The problem is that we have a lot of devices that are not supported through a Switch Refresh Workflow, like 3560s. We are upgrading our entire school district from our 3Ks to 9Ks so I am trying to find a streamline way to copy over port info without having to copy configs, modify and paste them manually
