DNAC/Catalyst Centre Cluster Checks after a Physical Move

Hi,

I have a customer who has a 3 node cluster which he is moving out of 1 DC and moving to 2 new DCs (abiding by the round trip delay rules between DNAC nodes). He is using DNAC for both assurance and SDA using ISE and backs up the configurational data daily.

The customer is very nervous about this change so would like some detailed pre and post checks. What essential checks would need to be done and what checks would be nice to have (change window duration permitting).

Many thanks,

Steve

Just as a note, this deployment is not supported. We do not support 3 node clusters that are not in the same DC, regardless of latency and RTT. This is stated in the installation guide.

Thanks. The DNACs are in different comms room in the same DC.

The only checks needed are to run an AURA check or if you are on 2.3.5.x and above, run a validation tool health check from the GUI which can be found in the System Health page.
