CSR1000v HA and 10.0.3.0/24

Hi,

I have read the instructions for setting up HA for the CSR1000v in AWS, and have seen this note:

For private subnets, do not use the IP address 10.0.3.0/24—
this is used internally on the Cisco CSR 1000v for High Availability

Before I go down a path that may not work for me, I'm wondering exactly this means.

Does it mean that any packets forwarded past the CSRs cannot have a destination IP address in the 10.0.3.0/24 range (and therefore I cannot use 10.0.3.0/24 _anywhere_ in my network); or does it just mean that the networks attached directly to the CSRs cannot use the range 10.0.3.0/24?

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Yes, this is on AWS.

I want a redundant pair of CSR1000v's. North of the CSRs will be VPNs terminated on the CSRs. South of the CSRs will be a transit gateway, connecting to the AWS-side networks.

The CSRs aren't implemented yet.
