What you are looking for, is the Hardware Support Manager (HSM) for Cisco UCS Manager. This unfortunately does not currently exist for UCS Manager or UCS Central, but exists for Cisco Intersight, as per VMware Hardware Support Manager Guide.
The Cisco HSM is called the Cisco Intersight Assist virtual appliance.
Since VMware have deprecated locally installable plugins (like the Cisco UCS Manager plug-in for vCenter Server), and it is still not supported on vSphere 8.0, we won't be rolling out this plugin, but are also hoping for an HSM that integrates with non-Intersight integrated/managed domains.
Aside: Please note and just to avoid any confusion: vSphere Lifecycle Manager is a different product from VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, the latter which
- Was renamed to VMware Arlia Suite Lifecycle in the last year or so
- Manages updates/upgrades for the VMware Aria Suite (Operations, Operations for Logs), not VMware vSphere (hosts and VMs).
- Is a separate VM
If you can, I would recommend changing the title to vLCM (vSphere Lifecycle Manager) Plugin for UCS.
