Hi there,
sorry if I'm not using the right group, in case let me know which one is best.
I'm sure all the big Cisco customers have this problem: when ordered items arrive, you want to add them to the inventory. The inventory must have the S/N, the description, and optionally, the family of the product and so on.
Are these pieces of information available from Cisco? The only way for the moment is to use CWAY, but .... in a manual way (and you get just the product ID).
Any hints, suggestions?

It sounds like you're dealing with a common challenge in inventory management for Cisco products. To streamline the process of adding ordered items to your inventory, you might consider leveraging Cisco's APIs or tools, if available, to automate the retrieval of necessary product information like serial numbers, descriptions, and families.

Thanks @hulazphila ,
where may I start my journey in gathering such information?
I guess from here, right?

Thanks, Gio
