General Position Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, designing, installing, and upgrading Cisco Unified Call Manager solutions for large enterprise clients as well as small corporate networks.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Inventory – unload and stack equipment upon delivery at target sites when delivered (must be able to lift 50 lbs)
• Customer consultation for configuration design of CUCM solutions utilizing MCS server and UCS hardware platforms
• Configuration and physical deployment of all required components for CUCM solution including servers (actual and/or virtual), routers, gateways, and switches down to individual telephone level
• Interfacing with customer's existing environment for successful integration of unified messaging and associated applications
• Testing and cutting over circuits for connectivity to the public network or customer's private network
• Upgrading existing Cisco CUCM platforms to latest releases through hardware refresh and software only upgrade procedures, including compatibility verification and software license validation and procurement
• Creation of all appropriate documentation regarding planned activity on "in service" components and final "As Built" documentation, utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio as required.
• Travel is required for this position.
Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 5-7 years voice/data engineer experience
• 5+ years experience with IP Telephony
• Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Unity Connection, CER, & Presence knowledge & skills
• Knowledge of various trunk types (analog, PRI, SIP, H323, etc.) required, including interfaces and appropriate troubleshooting techniques
Knowledge of TDM telephony including cable termination, cross connecting, and basic analog functionality troubleshooting through VGs and power fail transfer units.

Education College Degree or equivalent of education and experience.
Cisco certification(s) preferred: CCVP, CCIE
