I have a question from a software engineering team asking me if we could use Jabber to launch browser pops when calls come in. Just like what Finesse does via workflow. Something like a link for our CRM platform with the ANI inserted so it brings up an account. We're trying to see this work without using contact center.
I've found some older references to making this work with a dedicated tab (http://blog.darrenparkinson.uk/2014/11/cisco-jabber-custom-tabs-cti-screen-pop.html), but is anyone doing this currently?
