Hi All,
I am new to expressway, but nothing like being thrown in the fire to learn.
History- CUCM was recently upgraded to 10.5.2.15900-8 (all was still working), 2 days later the site lost power, Monday, remote 7841s cannot receive internal or external calls and remote jabber clients cannot receive external calls (but all successfully register to CUCM). When a user is on the network, all is gravy.
What i have done- Broke everything...but got it back to square 1. Rebooted exp E then 5-10 mins later reboot C. Upgraded both to X8.10.1 re-did the certs. But still at square 1.
this is whats been driving my troubleshooting:
Expressway C:
tvcs: Event="Call Rejected" Service="SIP" Src-ip="10.1.1.241" Src-port="5060" Src-alias-type="SIP" Src-alias="sip:92143008984@xxx.xxx.xxx" Dst-alias-type="SIP" Dst-alias="sip:9b2f8ccf-c504-db33-27c6-2db31c57cdc3@yyy.yyy.yyy:54351;transport\=tls" Call-serial-number="bf20ddda-8eba-43e4-9b91-9957d188cdf2" Tag="9583e2ba-fca2-416a-9931-e7ec66ef6a14" Detail="Not found" Protocol="TCP" Response-code="404" Level="1" UTCTime="2017-09-22 13:59:51,436"
thanks for any help, this is my first time to even type the word expressway, so please explain to me like im stupid.

Resolution-
TAC schooled me on this one-
On Expressway C
DNS record was resolving the hostname to the internal IP of Expressway E
Set record in DNS of EXP e to its external IP and everthing worked.
thanks everyone!!!

Is the ingress for calls from the PSTN SIP in all cases or do you have TDM in there also?

Have you dont all the obvious on the ISR like validate ISDN status, CCM manager and everything you normally would do to troubleshoot possible issues with PRIs?

Okay so now that you have ruled out ingress\egress from your TDM gateways.
1. Have you checked status on your ZONEs from both the C and E?
2. Also do a check status on UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS to make sure everything is right there?
3. Finally in the historical logs for both the E and C, you never see the call getting there right?

Attaching screenshots to make sure i am capturing the correct thing:
1. Have you checked status on your ZONEs from both the C and E?
See attached PNG
2. Also do a check status on UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS to make sure everything is right there?
See Attached PNG
3. Finally in the historical logs for both the E and C, you never see the call getting there right
Not Sure on EXP e so i attached a bit of the output.
thanks Again!!!
