Prefix for Jabber

Hi,

I have a problem and hope you can help me.

CUCM and Presence Server 10.5, Jabber 11.0

If we use jabber mobile (IOS or Android) we don’t have 0 as prefix to dial for external calls ,if we use Jabber Windows we have 0 as prefix to dial for external calls .

How can I change the configuration so that we have for both 0 as prefix to dial for external calls?

Thanks and best regards

Homayoun

Your jabber mobile device obvisously dont have the same partitions/CSS as your Jabber for Windows devices. start by bringing those inline with each other, by copying the settings over to your mobile Jabber cleints.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late answer.

I cann’t found any possiblity to choos the same Partitions/CSS in my TCT or CSF-Device

The Only one possibility is in der Properties of Directory number , is it correct or have I any wrong properties in my configuration?

Thanks for your support

a Question: I have change the CSS in TCT-Device, now I have two different CSS (one in the Directory Number and one in TCT) .

but my change in TCT has no effect in my doing I don’t know why , only my change in directory number has an effect , could you suppose why is that?

Thanks

Different CSSs on device & line can be normal depending on how your system is setup. (Mine certainly are different)

Did you restart the Jabber client after making the changes?

BTW - Do you have anything like device mobility enabled on your cluster? That might affect things too...

Hi,

yes i did restart my jabber client but it was not helpful.

we use extension mobility and the service is running but why is it a problem?
