This article includes information relevant to the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament)

Monthly Active Recipients in the EU

The Digital Services Act, or DSA (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) requires online platforms to publish information on the average monthly active recipients of the service in the European Union, calculated as an average over the period of the past six months. The information below was prepared for the DSA and its requirements, and thus should not be interpreted or used for other purposes.

  • August 1 2023 to January 31 2024 – approximately 86,370 average monthly active recipients
  • February 1 2023 to July 31 2023 – approximately 104,256 average monthly active recipients

Single Point of Contact

Articles 11 and 12 of the DSA require intermediary providers to designate a single point of contact to enable direct communication with users in the European Union, the European Commission, EU Member States’ authorities, and the European Board for Digital Services regarding the application of the DSA. These parties may contact Cisco regarding the DSA at dsa-poc@cisco.com. Please send such communications in English.

Reporting Illegal Content

Beginning February 17, 2024, in accordance with the EU Digital Services Act (“DSA”), if you are a recipient of the Cisco Community service in the European Union and you see content on Community that you believe to be illegal, you can submit a report to Cisco by following the process described here.

As defined in the DSA, “illegal content” means “any information that, in itself or in relation to an activity, including the sale of products or the provision of services, is not in compliance with Union law or the law of any Member State which is in compliance with Union law, irrespective of the precise subject matter or nature of that law.” For example, sharing terrorist content, the non-authorized use of copyright-protected material, or the illegal sale of live animals may all be deemed to be illegal content in certain Member States.

To report illegal content, please create a case with Cisco here by following the steps below.
