How to delete the unused .bin file from the switch

Hi Team ,

We are planning to upgrade the switch from nxos.9.3.5.bin to nxos.9.3.9.bin , but the image file which is copied is corrupted it not copied properly , MD5 checksum is not matching .

  1. How can I delete this file from the directory ?
  2. Deleting the file will have any impact ?
  3. What is the command to delete it ?

The command to delete a file is "delete bootflash:{filename}". While there is a small chance (usually due to obscure bugs) of any command being impactful, deleting an unused boot image is generally not disruptive.
