SWITCH CBS220-24T-4X SENSOR

Hello, how are you?

I have a question about the switch.
In the Health tab of the switch, there are two temperature sensors, "sensor 1" and "sensor 2." I just need to know what exactly the sensors measure and what the ideal temperature is for each sensor.

Switch model: CBS220 24T 4X

When i was looking for the same information, Cisco documentation not clear where this sensor 2 installed.

But when contacted some of the technical people in this regard i was told as long as they are controlled Temparature that should be good, when any of them have warning as exmaple below : we should look environment where this switch installed.

"It's really not clear this information.

My concern is that this switch is not in a temperature-controlled environment, only with fans."

in that case mostly you need to configure SNMP Trap or Syslog to monitor and get alert.

cisco always suggest use industrial switches where the environment no controlled using Airconditioned (based on the location)
