Hello,

I have an access point AIR 1852I , connected to WLC 5520 series , but unfortunately SSID cannot be broadcasted , I checked the configuration and compare it to a working access point , the configuration appears the same for both .

Could you please advise me , what can I do more to figure out the issue?

Thanks.

Hi @hamza1MATADORES

 We have a few option but not much. First, the radios need to be enable.  Second the AP must be receiving enough power and third if the WLAN ID is higher then 16 the AP can not be in a default AP group.  And that´s it.

Hi @Flavio Miranda ,

first , many thanks for your reply .

for the 3rd point you mention , how can I check if the AP is or isn't in a default AP group , I use wlc 5520 SERIES;

thank you.

Hi @hamza1MATADORES

You can go to Wireless TAB --> then left side select --> advanced --> click on AP Groups--> Click on "default ap group"

Be sure that APs is getting enough power... maybe radios are down

Hi @hamza1MATADORES

 You might have something like this print below.  Under WLAN, click in AP Groups and look the default group.

hello @Flavio Miranda @Daniel Ordóñez Flores ,

unfortunately even radio is up , power is ok and AP didnt belongs to default AP group , the SSID cannot be broadcasted , I think that there is a hardware issue.

Thank you all for your reply and support

Well, would be the first time I would see a problem like that but if it happen to only one AP and you are confident the config is right, so, it might be some issue on the AP.
