WAP150 radio configuration - weired behaviour

Good morning,
I am writing to you to find out if you have encountered the same bizarre behavior of my WAP150 wifi access point.
I purchased this access point for a small business; the speed that arrives at the box is around 700Mb/s. I configured this AP with 2 SSIDs (on 2 different VLANs) and activated the 2 radios 2.4 and 5 GHz.
At the 5GHz radio level (Basic Settings), I selected:
- Wireless Network Mode: 802.11n/ac
- Wireless Band Selection: 20/40 MHz
- Primary Channel: Lower
- Channel: 36
- Scheduler: None

In terms of advanced settings, I haven't changed anything.

On my computer, I forced my wifi card to connect to the 5GHz radio (it's a latest generation card that can go up to 802.11ax).

When I connect, I ALWAYS see that the protocol used is 802.11a with a maximum rate of 54Mbps

I tried everything but nothing changes. Do you have an idea on a parameter that I did not configure correctly please?

Thanks in advance

Hi

Assuming you clients is fine and suports it, change the channel to 80Mhz and test.

Hi Flavio,

Thanks for your help

Unfortunately, changing the channel did not improve throughput. The access point always "forces" me to connect in 802.11a in 5Ghz and 802.11g in 2.4Ghz
