ETD integration with ESA deployed on an on premise exchange server

Question: Customer with On premise exchange server & with an ESA deployed integrated ETD and creates a connector.

domain/import domain etc options on ETD portal are all greyed out because of SEG as message source.

Customer is now not getting any messages pass through ETD even after a week of integration.

Any recommendations ? Any setting to be done? Does on premise exchange server has to do anything with this set up?

Ok, step 1 is Security Services/Thet Defense Connector, where you add the address, and in 16.x you can add the ETD api info so you ETD can tell the ESA to remediate bad email
Step 2, is under Mail Policies/Incoming Mail Policies where you should see a box for "Threat Defense Connector" on the far right. For each policy you can decide whether or not to send that mail to ETD.
If I remember correctly, this happens at the end of the process, so if your mail policy quarantines or drops the mail, it won't go to ETD...
