Hi All,
Need your help to understand the CUCM cluster sizing.
The maximum number of nodes allowed in a cluster are 21.
Out of which how many can be subscriber and for what purpose we can use them.
out of 21 we can use 1 Pub node 2 TFTP node and 2 Music on hold nodes, need to know the rest nodes use for.

Hi Prasad,
16 nodes can be used as subscribers with Callmanager service activated. Also cluster with 21 nodes is a mega cluster and you need to work with Cisco Accounts team/AS to get approval and design the same.
Check the megacluster topic in the below link for more info:

16 subscribers are majorly used for call processing. Any additional functionality you want to implement on these depends on your design. For design of mega clusters, you need to discuss with Cisco Advanced services team.

If you're looking to deploy a mega cluster (the only one with 21 servers, as a regular deployment only supports 20) you should be discussing this with a reputable Cisco partner and your Cisco team. They should assist you with the design and determine whether you truly need a mega cluster, or not.
