One-Way Audio issue

Dear all,

I have one way audio issue between PSTN - GW3845 - CM 6.1 - IP Phone (7911 and IPC)

I can read other posts here and guide provide by cisco (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk698/technologies_tech_note09186a008009484b.shtml
)

I do this about 20 times before open this question.

Debugging GW i see this:

Where:

10.73.48.101 is my Ip Communicator (its the same issue on the same vlan)

10.73.4.1 Interface GigabitEthernet bind h323-gateway.

From PSTN (10.73.4.1) i have no audio but i can hear the ip phone (10.73.48.101)

Log from phones say "Zero RTP packets received in X seconds"

I attach the show run, show call his voice brief, and if you need something just ask me.

Are phones and GW in the same subnet? If not, check your routing.

I have the same problem with ip phones 7911 on the same subnet

its the same with 10.73.48.101 or 10.73.4.11

Looking at what you have shown so far.

We can see that gateway is sending and receiving RTP OK.

The IP phone does not receive the RTP.

The gateway routes to the phones on a static route

(from your show run)

ip route 10.73.0.0 255.255.0.0 10.73.0.3

This goes out on the gateway router via

!

interface GigabitEthernet0/0.73

description Troncal LAN-NUEVA

encapsulation dot1Q 73

ip address 10.73.0.1 255.255.255.0

!

Check that the routing to the phones is good from

the next hop 10.73.0.3 device

Yes, thats correct. Next hop is 10.73.0.3.

its a 3750 layer 3 with interface vlan 100 with ip address 10.73.4.2

Its something like this.

PSTN --- GW --- 3750   And from this core switch -- CM and phones

In addition,

sh ip route | inc 10.73.4

C       10.73.4.0/22 is directly connected, GigabitEthernet0/0.100

So the routing looks OK

The only other bother I have had with One Way XM is

when Firewalls have been in the routing

I see you have all kinds of secuirty inpection etc

Like the H323 interface

Hey guys, i find the problem.

In this document:

Note: Some services (particularly routers’ voice-over-IP services) use ephemeral or non-configurable interfaces that cannot be assigned to security zones. These services might not function properly if their traffic cannot be associated with a configured security zone.

So the controller e1 cannot be associated to security zone.

Solution:

Remove sub-interface GigabitEthernet0/0.100 (VoIP interface) from security Zone

I really appreciate your help.
