Upgrading Supervisor Engine (9400 Series) in Cisco 4500 Series

Hi,

I have a Cisco Catalyst 4507R+E core switch which is having one faulty Supervisor Engine (WS-X45-SUP8-E).

Since the faulty Sup-Eng is obsolete, the latest available is C9400-SUP-1XL.

I would like to know if the New Sup-Eng is compatible with the Old Switch. If yes, then how can I check the compatibility and what will be the procedure for replacement.

The 9400 supervisor card will not fit into the 4500 chassis.  Guaranteed.
