Anyconnect VPN | Accessing Inside Network

ghuguenin

Level 1

Hi All,

Thanks for any help with this.

Roughly I am having issues communicating with my inside network when I Anyconnect VPN. I can access the firewall and connect but from there it's a no go.

Do I need to set up a specific route protocol for this or is there some other means I am missing?

My internet is a Charter modem that I dynamically pull an IP address from. I also set up split tunneling so the VPN client still can have internet access while connected.

I am also having the ASA DHCP the inside network IPs

Hi,

Looking at the config, we have

ip local pool AddressPool 192.168.1.150-192.168.1.160 mask 255.255.255.0
and
access-list Split-Tunnel standard permit 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

Here is the object and nat statement needed for allowing VPN users to access subnet of 192.168.1.0/24

object network obj_192.168.1.0_24
 subnet 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

nat (inside,outside) source static obj_192.168.1.0_24 obj_192.168.1.0_24 destination static obj_192.168.1.0_24 obj_192.168.1.0_24 no-proxy-arp route-lookup.

NOTE:- You might wish to change the pool's subnet to a network different than LAN's subnet as it creates issues sometimes.

Dinesh Moudgil
