Downgrade FPR-1010

Hello,

I was trying to downgrade my FPR-1010 to 7.0.5-72 from 7.2.8 to upload a config file I have but disk0 on the firewall does not see the firmware. I currently have it on a usb drive and tried to boot the image that way but when I do, I cannot execute the connect ftd command. Is it possible to have the image copied over from the usb drive over to disk0: and boot the firmware that way? I have attached images below for reference. Thanks

have you tried as describe here. you have to do a reimage

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/firepower-1000-series/220642-reimage-a-secure-firewall-threat-defense.html

there is a option of using USB..

why are you downgrading to 7.0.x as 7.2.8 is where i would suggest staying on

I have a config file that runs on 7.0.5 and I was trying to downgrade it so I can run the baseline config file I am using to later upgrade to 7.2.5. I typed in 7.2.8 on accident so my apologies. I did look at this but I think I overlooked one step. Let me try it again and get back to you.

Procedure worked! Thanks!
