I have an application where two C2960-24TC-L switches located 450m apart have to be connected via a 62.5 MM fibre link using the GLC-LH-SM transceiver modules. The fibre link is terminated to SC patch panels at both ends. The question is can off the shelf 62.5 MM LC-SC patch cords be used to connect the switches to the patch panels? If not please recommend a suitable patch cord, thank you.

Should be fine.

It is recommended that you use Mode Conditioning Patch Cabes for your application; model CAB-GELX-625= (or similar from another vendor).
The following documents outlines the implementation of these cables.

I hope this helps!
