Access internal website via MRA in Jabber v14 in a WebTab

Hi together,

we try to display an internal website via MRA on an external Jabber v14. It loads the first page (index.html) but it cannot load css / js extensions. In the expressway log we can see that the jabber tries to load something like 'https:///style.css'., so there is no real hostname visible in the request - just the three slashes.

Anyone having a similar issue?

I found an older discussion https://community.cisco.com/t5/collaboration-discussions/disable-jabber-custom-tabs-on-mra-only/m-p/3554117#M8726 that states that this is no longer supported?

I believe in general Expressway is intended to proxy MRA related protocols and messages only - for other stuff - like general HTTP requests - you would configure a (separate) standard reverse proxy setup.  In the end this is probably desireable, as a generic HTTP proxy is going to have much more capability/configurability specific to HTTP scenarios, and won't be reliant on Cisco for support for web apps not directly relevant to CUCM.
