I was trying to configure Mac-address on 4948 L3 inteface. But there is no command to configure it.
Can any body help whether it supports or not , if yes which image.

the 4948 L3 interface already has a MAC address given to it by the manufacturer. the BIA or burned-in-address for the L3 interface will be its MAC.
can you explain why/what you are attempting to configure a MAC address on the L3 interface for? perhaps if we know your goal we can provide a solution.
NOTE: as you can see in your output from above for example, the module in slot 1, a 48 port 1000baseX module, is assigned MAC addresses from "0014.1c47.8c40 >> 0014.1c47.8c6f" (48 macs)

Hi,
Thanks for response. you are true it is assigned MAC address.
But when i configure two port as L3 interafce , MAC address for both port shows same and i'm using "ip address dhcp client identifier" under l3 port through which i send dhcp request with client identifier as MAC address of that port but unfortunately from both DHCP request goes with same MAC-Address thats problem so i want some how to send DHCP request with diff MAC-Address.
Thats reason , i want to configure MAC-Address
