I have two locations with a single 3640 in each location, the locations are connected by a pair (for redundency) of MCI PIP Frame-Relay circuits running IETF encapsulation. Is there any type of compression (similar to PPP compression) that can be used on IETF encapsulated circuits to increase throughput?

hi
You can use
frame-relay ip rtp header-compression
If you are running voice traffic you can also use traffic shaping by assigning a map class and using rtp priority. Let me know if you need an example of the above
thanks
