Error on a Cisco 3550 - IOS 12.1(19)

Hello,

I just received a new cisco 3550 - 24 port switch with cisco IOS 12.1(19) installed on it.

The problem that I'm having is that off boot the switch is giving me the following problem:

Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be the problem. Could be an internal hardware failure?

Hello Emanuel,

the switch is bad and cannot be used anymore. You can go for an "RMA", it should have a limited hardware warranty... call Cisco and see if they will replace it.

That switch is FUBAR. RMA is in order.

Is Cisco putting Brain matter on their chips?
