Hi All,
Did anyone out there have successfully browse snmp on the local director?

Are you running into any specific problems?. Couple of things to note though. LD only supports SNMPv2c, so make sure that you're polling the LD via SNMPv2c and not v1. Also SNMP community string need to ne setup first on the LD and the using the snmp-server host command enter the ip address of the host from where the SNMP requests will be coming in.

Thanks for the response.
I was trying to find out the OIDs using Getif and did not have luck. I did setup the snmp-server on LD. I think the problem is that Getif does not support SNMPv2 I need to download other mib browser that support version 2.

You can use the UCD-SNMP CLI utilities for this which are Free Ware. You can get it from: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=12694
Download the .zip file if you're on Windows. The syntax for doing snmpwalk on LD using above is (using v2c):
% snmpwalk -v 2c
