Port Spanning on Gigabit ports

We have a 6513 switch with a Fast-Ethernet module and 2 Gigabit modules.But everytime we configure port spanning on the gigabit ports and connect the sniffer,it crashes the switch.Port spanning works fine on the Fast Ethernet ports.Is this a bug or Is there something else to be looked at.

You could try spanning the VLAN with caputure filters.

We have 6513 and spanned gig to gig using distributed sniffer. We are running catos 6.3(5) & 6.3(7) and have had no problems.

We are running 6.3(1).Will that be a problem.

We have the inputpkts option enabled,Should it be disabled?
