Preserving VLAN ID in RSPAN

HELLO Everyone,

I am using Remote SPAN on couple of different Cisco Switches. (6509, 3550, and 4006) When I RSPAN a trunk port I noticed that all the packet's VLAN gets changed to the VLANID of the Remote VLAN. Is there any way, to preserve the original VLANID with RSPAN?

Thanks The current version of IOS I am using is the 12.1(20)EW .

From documentation ..

"Because RSPAN traffic is carried across a network on an RSPAN VLAN, the original VLAN association of the mirrored packets is lost."
