Problem in ios upgrading for 2621xm router

Dear all,

Kinds help me to solve out the problem with ios upgrading.

I have a 2621xm router I am upgrading 12.3 IP Plus IOS and I have deleted old Ios but after deleting the old ios I am not able to upgrade the ios it’s giving some error and even if I change the register value to 0x2102 or 0x2101 and 0x2142 it’s also not taking the value can any body help me how to solve the problem.

Can u post the error message which you are getting out there ?

are you stucked up somewhere in rommon mode ? or in normal router prompt ?

HI Shoaib,

After deleting the old ios have you tftp the new ios image into the flash?

If yes please change the value to 0x2102 and check the "sh ver" don't you see saying router saying current config register and will be 0x2102 after reload?

Can you paste the output of "sh flash" and "sh version"

Also don't forget to change the boot path as you have deleted the old image and old boot path must be pointing to old image.
