Hi,
Whilst using the RME Data Extraction Engine, I noticed that the cwexport command has a '-m' command line option which allows a mail recipient to be specified.
Does anyone know how the smtp server to be used is determined ? Is it specified in the CiscoWorks set-up, or is it dependant on a setting on the server that CiscoWorks is running on ?
I am using a Windows platform with RME 3.5.
Regards
Nigel.

I believe you are talking about cwinvcreport instead of cwexport. You configure a SMTP server at "RME > Administration > System Configuration", and all RME email functions will use that to send emails.

Hi,
Thanks for the info, but it is the cwexport command I'm talking about. It lets you dump all RME device data in to an XML file....
