OLD RV016 Router - What are the Firmware Options

I have an old RV016 router on v2.0.6 firmware. I'd like ot upgrade to the latest firmware for this device but cannot seem to find any updates (maybe there are none)

I am having intermittane connectivity problmes where my connection to the internet just stops workign and then comes back of its own accord. I've done the ususal Microsoft reboot everythign approach to no avail

It could be the cable modem but there are not many options on this device so I am lookign to upgrade the firmware to see fi this helps

I understand the v4 firmware will not work but in the listing in the support/download website there are v3 firmware - the file that downloads has a "rmt" suffix...that does nto seem to work when I select this to upgrade the firmware. My recollection is hte firmware came as a Zip file but I cannot find such an animal

Is there an update to v2.0.6 and if so where is it

Hi Nick, to my understanding the 3.0.0.1 firmware works on both the original V01 hardware and the V02 hardware.

I've read in anothe thread that the 3.0.2 will work on the older hardware.  Is this not the case?
