Problem VPN with Cisco RV180 site to site

                   Hi,

I have setup my rv180 in site to site in Ipsec VPN , it's working fine with selecting IP adress as Remote address ( Fixed IP adrress).

When i change setup to FQDN and use a name instead of an IP adress , i get the following  messages in the log.

Fri Oct 18 09:35:32 2013 (GMT +0100): [router57182E] [IKE] INFO:  Adding IPSec configuration with identifier "Spidyone"

Fri Oct 18 09:35:32 2013 (GMT +0100): [router57182E] [IKE] INFO:  Adding IKE configuration with identifier "Spidyone"

Fri Oct 18 09:35:37 2013 (GMT +0100): [router57182E] [IKE] ERROR:  Failed to resolve remote FQDN "my.vpn.name". Backing off resolution for 2 seconds.

Fri Oct 18 09:35:37 2013 (GMT +0100): [router57182E] [IKE] ERROR:  Could not find configuration for 188.x.x.x[500]

"my.vpn.name" and  "188.x.x.x" have been replace for security reason but we check that "my.vpn.name is a good DNS name with DNS server setup in the RV180 configuration. DNS setup in WAN IPV4.

Hi, thank you for using our forum, my name is Luis I am part of the Small business Support community. I think could be a compatibility issues with your DDNS provider, the RV180 supports DDNS providers such as DynDNS.com, TZO.com, or 3322.org, anyway I suggest you to contact you DDNS provider to verify the information with them.
