Just got an RV180 V01 new in box - have been trying to manage it using a Windows 7 laptop and Chrome, IE 6, 7, 8 & 9.
Chrome hangs on many specific pages, e.g. VLAN Membership, with a "Please wait - the page is being loaded" message forever - completely repeatable - this happens mainly on Chrome (which is documented as supported - see below), but also on IE I just get a few lines in the window with scroll bars. The user interface seems slow and basically unusable.
I tried upgrading to the latest f/w from Cisco's site, 1.0.5.4, however that made no difference. Laptop is plugged directly into LAN1
Looking at the Cisco RV180/RV180W Administration Guide June 2012 (rv180w_admin.pdf), Section 1, page 11, states:
The Device Manager is supported on the following web browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and later
- Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and later
- Apple Safari 3.0 and later
- Google Chrome 1.0 and later
Please can anyone tell me how to get a reliable & responsive web-management view of this box?
