Hi,
I've bought a new Cisco 886VA and want to set the noise-margin value.
With my old 876 I had to set "service internal" and then I was able to configure the value unter ATM inter config.
But with the new 886VA I can't find a way to configure it.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Dear Paolo,
I want to throttle the connection from 6000 to 3000, because the uplink is very unstable with poor quality.
I know I can call my ISP to change the profile, but for testing purpose I'd like to do it on my own.

The VA series have a different chipset that works differently from the old.
You better ask the ISP to provide a stable circuit.

I want to test some things quick and dirty, contacting the ISP would be way to long if something fails.
I've an open case @ TAC for this issue, perhaps they can help me out
Thanks!

I think matter is that if the negotiated speed proves to be unstable, there is an issue with the product, not lack of a command.
Because ADSL is supposed to never negotiate a speed that then won't work.
