update ir809

hi all. im about to update a bounch of ir809 routeres. they are running an older IOS 15.7(3)M2 version.

But when i update them and they are going to reboot, they keep rebooting.

they keep updateing the same thing and then reboot over and over Again. Until i cut the power and on again. only first then, they complete the update and start correct up.

anyone has any idea?

here are my commands for the update:

bundle install flash:ir800-universalk9-bundle.SPA.158-3.M9.bin rom-autoboot delete
boot system flash:ir800-universalk9-mz.SPA.158-3.M9

I have an IR829 running 15.9(3)M8b and I don't recall any issues doing that update. I did see several caveats in the 15.9 release notes about needing to remove old bundles from the flash. Have you checked available space in flash?

Just curious, but why 15.8 instead of 15.9? They both have the same memory/flash requirements, and 15.8 code is already 2 years old.
