AppQoE - TCP Optimization

Hi, 

We are looking to configure AppQoE TCP optimization only. No DRS, etc. I'm using the following document but have some questions/clarifications.

AppQoE - Step-by-Step Configuration - Cisco Community

In our Datacenters, we currently using ASR1001-X, while the sites, mainly running 8200's. 

Question:

• Are the ASR1001-X, supported at all? 
  • Based on this doc they aren't:Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN AppQoE Configuration Guide, Cisco IOS XE Catalyst SD-WAN Release 17.x - TCP Optimization [Cisco SD-WAN] - Cisco
  • But they are as External Service nodes for AppQoE: Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN AppQoE Configuration Guide, Cisco IOS XE Catalyst SD-WAN Release 17.x - External Service Nodes for AppQoE Services [Cisco SD-WAN] - Cisco 
• DRE container will only be installed, when enabled DRE, but not required with only TCP optimization? 

Any other document, which provides more details on TCP Optimization setup?
