Initial Configuration of the AIP-SSM Sensor:

The initial configuration of the AIP-SSM sensor for the ASA firewall consists of 3 steps:

1. Configure the basic system parameters of the sensor module by sessioning in to the sensor from the ASA
2. Send traffic up to the sensor, from the ASA, for inspection
3. Complete, fine-tune and test the configuration of the sensor from the CLI or IDM GUI.

Thanks for posting that. While the conf is simple, there seems to be preciuse little documentation on this module. I was looking all over to find out how to access the sensor via a SSH session to the ASA. Thank you.

Can't see the video - right clicking on the area it's supposed to be in shows, "movie not loaded" error, and a link to take me to Adobe's website to see info on ver. 11. 

Is it me, or did someone take down the video's?  I swear Flash is getting as bad as Java....
