Cisco UCS Server - 1Gbps Fibre (SX)

Hi All,

Anyone can advise what kind of PCI-e Card I can use if I need a 1Gbps Fibre (SX) transceiver on the UCS C220 server?

Is the GLC-SX-MMD is compatible with any 10Gbps SFP+ card?

Hello there,

The GLC-SX-MMD transceiver can be used with the ports that supports the 1Gbps speed.

The UCS C220 supports 1Gbps speed with RJ-45 ports only.
