if ping cisco.tools.com is not working
Please add the following command:
# config t
ip host tools.cisco.com 173.37.145.8
port 443 should be opened on the device, request the customer network/security admin to open port 443
Also please collect the call home debug logs if there is still an issue after adding the above command.
