I have a cisco switch and the associated serial number is FCW2020F035. Is there a way to see if there is anything wrong with this device? Or if it is on some kind of grey list?

Another question for you, would modifying crypto configurations (I.E. adding our modifying crypto peers) potentially result in a reboot for the switch above, a 2850?

not sure what crypto config you referrring here ? can you provide example  ?

if you referring any SSH configuration - make sure your changes using console in case you lost connection.

SSH crypto  or any crypto change does not need to reboot the switch.

The 3850 switch has been rebooting not excessively just every few days. The switch executes a SUDI imparent certifcate validation after the reboot in order to confirm crypto settings. Any ideas?
