Hello,

w'd like to renew our SG220 Campus Switch to CBS250. Any procedure to migrate the configuration file (.cfg)  from SG220 to CBS250.  as they are 95% same, we do not want to rebuild all from 0 on CBS250.

 - I don't think the cfg's are compatible   , well if you have maiden CBS250 , not yet servicing the network , you could try to import a cfg from the SG to it and see what happens, but I am sceptic. Also note :

This can sometimes be useful for testing configurations and  look at the possibilities of the small business series devices

Hello Marce1000,

Thanks for your return. we do not have a CBS250 for test, W've make a try on CBS250 emulator, it doesn't take upload .cfg file in effective.

Do you have a native CBS250 configuration file that can be shared (or any one else) , so we can compare with the SG220's .cfg -> so we may modify manually the SG220 cfg script in order to import in CBS250.

Best, J.

You might have more success using the CLI and taking the configuration from one to t'other that way.  The CLIs are similar (but of course its no use if your not familiar with the CLI).
