Cisco SG550X - after update firmware - issue all PoE ports

Hi,
we have 8 units Cisco SG550X, connected to the stack. After a firmware update we have a problem with one unit, all PoE ports stopped powering the device (operational status fault).

I removed the unit from the stack, reset to factory default, but no change.

PoE ports are working fine - 2.5.0.83, 2.5.0.90, 2.5.0.92, 2.5.5.47
PoE ports - Operational status fault - 2.5.9.15, 2.5.9.13, 2.5.8.15, 2.5.8.12, 2.5.7.85

We have two SG550X-24P-K9 units, the difference is in the HW version.
PID VID: SG550X-24P-K9 V04 - no problem with firmware higher than 2.5.5.47
PID VID: SG550X-24P-K9 V05 - since 2.5.7.85 PoE port fault

Please, do you have similar experience or any idea?

Thanks in advance.

Just to clarity even after rollback to working version the PoE ports still not working

if that is the case, time for Open a TAC case and if required RMA

Hi,

after roolback to 2.5.5.47 and lower PoE ports are working fine (PID VID: SG550X-24P-K9 V05). Therefore I believe it is a software (firmware) issue.

Thanks

Sure if the rollback works, time to work with SMB TAC to investigate for you.
