connect a C2960x to a port on a SG500Stack

I have a c2960x that I would like to connect to my network via a single ethernet link.  The connection on the c2960x would be a gigabit ethernet (g1/0/1) and the connection on the SG500 would be a trunk port.  How do I get the C2960x to talk to the SG500 default gateway and beyond to the world?

 Hi

You can create a interface vlan on the 2960x on the same vlan as the SG500 and they will have Layer connectivity. Then you can setup a static route on the 2960 pointing to the gateway or use the command ip default-gateway <gateway>

 - Both devices are switches , I don't see the sense of 'talking to the world' for devices that can offer layer2 switching on the intranet only,

If I have a pc on the C2960x that needs access to the internet, it doesn’t work now. I can’t even ping the default gateway setup on the config. The VLAN1 address is x.x.x.10 and the gateway is x.x.x.1.
