Do you need to modify the Smartport Type Settings (for Auto Voice VLAN)?

Hi,

Question. For Auto Voice VLAN (withouth Telephony OUI) to work properly; do you need to configure the Smartport Type Settings? To be more specific, when you look at the IP Phone and IP Phone + Desktop smartport type (macro); do you need to change the native_vlan$ from "1" to your desired VLAN ID?

I must add, after some problems I am able to get Auto Voice VLAN to work properly. But on some switches I was able to get it working without modifying these smartport types. On some other switches that caused weird behaviors. Tried so many things to get it working that I just don't know the details anymore. So I wonder, do you 'always' have to configure them. I wish you don't have to configure them, because some port host different VLANs on them. I actually hope the value "1" takes over the untagged VLAN ID on the trunk port as the native VLAN.
