Multiple Default Routs With Multiple Vlans SG500 - 48

Hello ... I have one single question

How can I configure a DIFFERENT default route per vlan on a SG500 - 48 Layer 3 Mode ?

Consider the following.

vlan 100 is setup with ip address 192.168.100.2/30 and configured to use port g1/0/47 connected to ISP A ( ISP end is 192.168.100.1)

vlan 200 is setup with ip address 192.168.200.2/30 and configured to use port g1/0/48 connected to ISP B ( ISP end is 192.168.200.1)

vlan 10 is setup with ip address 10.10.10.1/24 and configured to use ports g1/0/11 to g1/0/20

vlan 20 is setup with ip address 10.10.20.1/24 and configured to use ports g1/0/21 to g1/0/30

Now how do I configure things so that hosts on vlan 10 get routed out to Provider A (192.168.100.1)  , hosts on vlan 20 get routed out of provider B (192.168.200.1) , and there is routing between Vlan 10 and 20 ?

Anyone got some good ideas?

Many Thanks,

Hello,

Thank you for the question and I'm sorry you are having issues with your device.

Unfortunately what you are trying to do is not supported on the device, there is no way to configure more than one default route.
I don't think there is a workaround for it either.

My recommendation is to buy a dual WAN router like the Rv320 or RV325 which will allow you to create VLANs and will be able to handle both ISP's and send traffic from either VLAN to either ISP as per your configuration.

I hope this helps.

I agree with cchamorr, but can't you keep ISP connection and users in same VLAN?  That way you could have default gateway to your ISP for Internet and have a static route on the ISP L3 device (or workstations) with route to other VLAN.

So per your example maybe just VLAN 10 and 20 and have ISP interface be 10.10.10.1 and 10.10.20.1.  Then have VLAN interfaces be 10.10.10.2 and 10.10.20.2.

Default gateway for users in VLAN 10 would be 10.10.10.1 and you would make static route like 10.10.20.0/24 via 10.10.10.2 either on workstation or in ISP L3 device.
