SLM2024 can't access configuration and computers get unidentified network

Hi,

I used this switch for a 10 computers win 7 network for some years and now after unpliging it for some time, I can't get it to work. First I can't access configurationpage anymore (192.168.1.254 does not work anymore). Ping 192.168.1.254 failed. Every computer connected to it don't see each other anymore, they just get an unidentified network.

Hi Jocelyn, try to factory default the switch holding the reset in for about 30 seconds and leave the switch isolated from the network. Connect a computer directly to the switch and assign a static IP on the 192.168.1.x subnet and see if that works. If it still doesn't respond, you may want to try a second computer just in case.. otherwise sounds as if the switch has gone bad or at least the ports you've tried.

After trying to reset to factory defaults by pressing the reset button for more than 30 sec, I still get the same results.... Maybe the switch is dead.

Since there is a life warranty on it, do you have any idea how I can get a replacement?

Hi Jocelyn, to RMA the device, call the small business support.
