9300 switch license issue (not license smart register idtoken)

Hi ,

I am currently having an issue with 9300 Stack of switches running IOSXE Amsterdam. 
I have followed the procedure on cisco's website "System Management Configuration Guide, Cisco IOS XE Amsterdam 17.3.x (Catalyst 9300 Switches) - Configuring Smart Licensing [Support] - Cisco"

After changing the license boot level using  "license boot level network-essentials addon dna-essential"

I can see that the switch has taken the command after the reboot I get the following output when running "sh ver"

Just to highlight this is IOSXE  17.03.04 . is the update process on it any different ?

post the full running configuration of the 9300. Is your call home fully working ?

Which sections of the config are you interested in as I am not allowed to paste the full thing here for confidentiality.

I forgot to mention that this is IOSXE  17.03.04  . is the process any different on the newer versions ?

I have seen few posts about using CSLU but no official cisco guide on that.

Hello,

Starting from IOS-XE 17.3.2, the smart licensing imposed is SLUP (Smart Licensing Using Policy), where there is no more the concept of registering the device.
