Connection Serial to Smart Serial

Hi,

someone can help me?

I have Cisco 1841 with WIC1T board, Serial

I have Cisco 2921 with WIC2T board, Smart Serial

Someone know which is code of Cross Cable to connect together?

And is it possible to connect second port of WIC2T to other router?

Hi,

You can use two cables, DTE on one side and DCE on the opposite one and connect these cables together. Your choice is V.35, RS-232, X.21,RS-449, RS-530 interface.

E.g.: When choosing the RS-232 interface you connect either the cable CAB-SS-232MT at the WIC-2T and at the same time the cable CAB−232FC at the WIC-1T or connect the cable CAB-SS-232FC at the WIC-2T and the cable CAB−232MT at the WIC-1T.

When configuring please do not forget to include "clock rate" command at the DCE side.

And YES, feel free to connect the second WIC-2T port to another router.

2nd link is my conversation, 4 mounth ago and I absolutely forget it. Genius!

1st link I have just read it some days ago but i don't understand cisco P/N, but I think that it dosn't exist cisco cable with this pin-out. I think that is custom cable for test and laboratory and I can't find code.

Anyway, cod 2626x and 6026x is not true code to get this type of cable.
